How is the agreement concluded?

Place Reservee takes the utmost care when posting information online about the characteristics of its products, including technical descriptions based on data provided by its partners and suppliers, and photos illustrating the products, all to the extent that technical means allow. Certain non-substantial characteristics of a product may differ from the photos and descriptions displayed on the website upon delivery.

Any offer on our website is merely an invitation to the Buyer to make a purchase and cannot therefore be considered a binding offer by Place Reservee to the Buyer. Furthermore, the offer is only valid while stocks last. We reserve the right to apply specific conditions to a particular offer, such as a limited period of validity. Such specific conditions only apply if they are explicitly communicated prior to the order.

If the Buyer wishes to purchase a product from Place Reservee's range, they must place an order using the online ordering method. This purchase is binding on the Buyer. Place Reservee will contact the Buyer within 7 calendar days of the order to confirm it. This confirmation will be sent by email to the email address provided by the Buyer. This order confirmation marks the moment at which the agreement is concluded.

Place Reservee may decide at any time not to send a confirmation or to refuse the product order in an explicit statement. If the order cannot be fulfilled or can only be partially fulfilled, Place Reservee will inform the Buyer and, if necessary, propose a replacement product. If Place Reservee refuses the product order or the Buyer does not agree to the proposed alternatives, no agreement will be concluded. The Buyer is not entitled to any form of compensation.

In accordance with the Economic Law Code, the parties expressly acknowledge that electronic forms of communication constitute a valid agreement. Place Reservee may use all electronic files at its disposal, within the limits of the law, to prove the agreement. A regular, digital, or electronically qualified signature is not an essential requirement for proof.

Our prices

All prices are expressed in euros and include VAT and other taxes. Delivery costs and other additional costs (see payment methods) are not included in the individual product price. Such costs are always explicitly indicated in the final step of our online ordering process.

The Buyer owes the price that Place Reservee has communicated to them in its confirmation in accordance with Article 2 of these General Terms and Conditions. Obvious or clear errors in the price quotation, such as evident inaccuracies, may also be corrected by Place Reservee after the agreement has been concluded. Complaints about the price (setting) must be communicated clearly and in writing within seven (7) calendar days. Filing a complaint does not result in suspension of payment.

Place Reservee has the right to change prices at any time, but we undertake to apply the rates indicated on the site at the time of your order. If the price change is the result of changes in VAT rates, this will be charged to the Buyer.

Terms of payment

In principle, every payment is processed immediately and in full at the moment the order is placed by the Buyer. We accept the following payment methods:

Mastercard / VISA / Bancontact / Ideal / PayPal / Apple Pay

Vouchers will only be accepted within our sales areas and not for distance contracts. Place Reservee may expand the payment options in the future. Any expansion of payment options will be announced on the website. Place Reservee takes all reasonable measures to ensure the security of your online transactions. We guarantee this security by engaging specialized parties such as recognized credit card issuers and payment partners.

Multisafepay's secure system is responsible for the further processing of the payment and ensures that your bank details are handled in an encrypted manner. The necessary security measures via SSL are provided. Place Reservee defers its delivery obligations until receipt of full payment of all amounts owed by the Buyer. Place Reservee retains ownership of all products ordered until full payment of all amounts owed under this agreement, regardless of whether delivery has already taken place.

How will my products be delivered?

We process every order promptly. Unless another delivery time has been agreed, the maximum delivery period is thirty (30) days after receipt of the order. If Place Reservee fails to deliver the goods at the time agreed with the Consumer or within thirty (30) days, the Buyer shall request delivery within an additional period that is appropriate in view of the circumstances. If Place Reservee fails to deliver within the additional period, the Buyer shall be entitled to terminate the agreement. In such a case of termination, Place Reservee will refund all amounts paid promptly and no later than fourteen (14) days after termination of the agreement. Exceeding the delivery period does not give rise to any other compensation (for damages).

When you order a product that is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified when the product will be available again. The delivery period will then start from the moment the products are back in stock. Place Reservee uses reliable external parties for delivery, in particular BPost. The use of external parties may have an impact on delivery. However, Place Reservee accepts no responsibility for late deliveries or for orders lost by third parties or due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. In the event of a non-delivered order, an investigation will be launched immediately with the carrier. This takes several days, during which time no refund or replacement shipment can be made.

It is the buyer's responsibility to enable delivery at the agreed location in the presence of the buyer or a third party designated by the buyer. Delivery is deemed to have taken place once the ordered products have been offered to the customer once. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to a shortcoming on the part of the Buyer or the third party designated by the Buyer, the costs of new delivery attempts will be borne entirely by the Buyer.

Place Reservee bears the risk of damage and/or loss of the products until the moment of delivery. The risk of the products is transferred to the Buyer as soon as the Buyer or a third party designated by the Buyer takes delivery of the ordered products. In principle, each delivery requires the signing of the delivery confirmation, but failure to sign does not affect the transfer of risk.

Default and complaints

The statutory warranty obligation, as stipulated in Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, applies in full to these General Terms and Conditions. Consequently, every Buyer is entitled to repair if he discovers a defect in the delivery of the item sold, in accordance with the conditions of the legal warranty obligation. In addition, the legal warranty period of two (2) years applies to the Consumer. The Buyer cannot invoke their warranty rights if they were aware of the defects at the time of purchase. Additional commercial warranties are always possible in accordance with the relevant conditions.

As soon as the Buyer or a third party designated by the Buyer receives the products, this recipient is obliged to examine the products carefully. If the product or delivery is affected by a visible defect, and this is visible to the recipient, he may submit a complaint. The Buyer must communicate these complaints explicitly, unambiguously, and with justification in writing to Place Reservee within seven (7) days of delivery to the Buyer or a third party designated by the Buyer. It is the Buyer's obligation to provide sufficient justification for this communication.

Defective products must be returned to Place Reservee, always in their original condition, including their packaging, accessories, and documentation, and always accompanied by the original invoice or a valid proof of payment. Any failure to comply with this obligation will result in a proportional reduction in the refund. Returns are always at the Buyer's risk. The costs of return shipping are borne by the Buyer. Place Reservee recommends returning these products by registered mail with insurance to avoid the risks of loss and theft. Returns must be made within seven (7) calendar days of notification.

The warranty does not apply to: Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental or intentional changes made by the Buyer to the goods, including improper and incorrect use and exposure to moisture, fire, earthquake, and other external causes.

Damage caused by installation and use in a manner that is not in accordance with the instructions and information provided.

In the absence of a justified complaint, the Buyer is not entitled to return the goods. If the above conditions are met, the Buyer is first entitled to a free repair or replacement, depending on the situation. Only when the repair or replacement is excessive or impossible or cannot be carried out within a reasonable period of time is the Buyer entitled to a full or partial refund. The Buyer must substantiate this in a clear and well-founded manner. The resulting compensation can never exceed the amount invoiced to the Buyer.

If the products were returned unjustifiably because the above conditions were not met, Place Reservee will resend them to the Buyer. The costs of this return shipment will be borne by the Buyer. In that case, Place Reservee is free to store the products with third parties at the expense and risk of the Buyer until these return shipment costs have been paid.
